FAQ
-
Will your prices increase once we’ve moved just like other providers have done?
Fair, transparent pricing is a core value that Kinde is built on. We’ll never make unreasonable price increases. We don’t believe that underhanded pricing tactics are the right way to behave – so we don’t do it. We’ll also never lock you in to Kinde. If you’re unhappy we’ll let you cancel at any time. No questions asked. Read more about our commitment to fairness in auth.
-
What happens if Kinde gets acquired by a larger vendor?
We have no intention on being acquired. Kinde’s long term vision is to provide the building blocks for all software founders, not just in identity.
-
How long does it take to migrate to Kinde?
A lot depends on the size of the team you assign to the project as well as the complexity of your migration and implementation. Teams have migrated to Kinde in as little as 48 hours. For more complicated migrations this can extend to as much as 60 or 90 days.
-
How hard is it to move from another provider to Kinde?
Every migration is different, but typically it’s easier than you think. Most of our migrations can take place in days or weeks.
Treating your migration as a roadmap project will help bring visibility of things like timeline and complexity. We work with a lot of teams that first build an early proof of concept to get a better understanding of scope, deliverables and timeline. From here you’ll be able to better assess the feasibility of the project and properly assign resources within your existing roadmap. We’ll work with you at every stage of your migration to help make moving as painless as possible.
