Check your MAU and MAO

Link to this section

MAU and MAO are both important indicators of how your business is doing.

MAU stands for monthly active users, and is a common metric for predicting recurring revenue and tracking business growth. Kinde considers a user is ‘active’ if they have had an access token granted during your billing period.

MAO stands for monthly active organizations, which if you are a B2B company, is a bit like MAU, but for your business customers. Kinde considers an organization is ‘active’ if there are at least 2 members, and at least one of those members is active (i.e the user had had an access token granted during your billing period).
