Apply roles and permissions to users

Roles and permissions are set at the level of Organization. So if you have users who belong to multiple organizations, you’ll need to set their roles and permissions separately.

Apply and edit user permissions

You can add and remove individual permissions for users in an organization. If you can’t find a permission, you may need to add it. See Define user permissions

  1. In the menu, select Organizations. The Organizations page opens.
  2. On the Organization card that the users belong to, select the three dots, then select View users. The Users page opens, showing a list of all users.
  3. Search or scroll for the user you want to edit.
  4. Select the three dots on the far right and select Edit user. The Edit user window opens.
  5. In the Permissions section, use the switch next to each permission to turn them on and off for the user.
  6. Select Save.
  7. Repeat from step 3 for each user whose permissions you want to change.

Apply and edit user roles

You can add and remove roles for users in an organization. If you can’t find a role, you may need to add it. See Define user roles.

  5. In the Roles section, use the switches to apply and remove roles for this user. Note that if you apply a role to a user that includes one of the listed permissions, the permission is not automatically switched on when you apply the role. Roles and permissions are treated independently at the user level.
  6. Select Save.
