When active, Kinde allows you to sign-in/up with your Google credentials. To be able to use this, you have to create authorization credentials with Google.
This guide demonstrates how to create authorization credentials with Google and add them to Kinde.
Unfortunately, the steps in Google’s Create authorization credentials section don’t reflect the steps in Google Cloud. Therefore, use the following steps until Google’s documentation gets updated:
Now that you have your authorization credentials from Google, you can add them to Kinde.
Sign in to Kinde admin.
Navigate to the Settings page.
Turn on the Google 3rd party authenticator under the Authentication types / 3rd party authentication section.
Note: As covered in the 3rd party authentication document, you may have already turned it on using Kinde’s default credentials.
Select the Configure link.
Paste your Client ID and Secret from the Create Google credentials steps into the two fields and save the form.
